AWS announced a simplified setup experience for new customers that uses projects, identity sign-in from providers including Google, GitHub and Apple, and automatic permission handling for supported services. Most new customers can start without a credit card and receive $100 in Free Tier credits, AWS said. Paid projects can set monthly spend limits beginning at $20; AWS says it pauses a project when it reaches its limit. The experience is rolling out gradually.
