Plex urges updates for undisclosed server and desktop security flaws

Plex urged users to update affected desktop clients and media servers after releasing fixes for multiple undisclosed security vulnerabilities. The company said Plex Media Server 1.43.3 and Plex Desktop 1.115.0 address the issues; affected server versions include 1.43.2 and earlier. Plex said CVE identifiers had been requested and further details would follow. The company also emailed users running affected versions. It advised NAS users whose package managers lack the update that they can install the package manually.
