# AWS adds four model options to Amazon Bedrock

AWS says it is adding OpenAI GPT-6.1 Sol, OpenAI GPT-6 Astra UltraFast mode, Anthropic Claude Sonnet 5.5 and SpaceXAI Grok 4.7 to Amazon Bedrock, expanding the models developers can choose on the platform.

The additions cover coding, computer use and document processing. AWS cites OpenAI's claim that UltraFast delivers up to 6x faster API inference, with up to 300 tokens per second. It describes Sonnet 5.5 as an upgrade for coding tasks and Grok 4.7 as improving mixed-document handling, repository-scale coding and browser tasks. UltraFast is a premium speed tier.
