MongoDB announced an integration with Google's Agent Development Kit that lets developers store AI agents' conversation state and longer-term memories alongside application data. MongoDB says the integration preserves context across sessions, machine restarts and multiple running instances.

Its session service stores events and application, user and session state, with concurrency controls for simultaneous updates. A separate memory service ingests session events, prevents duplicate ingestion and recalls memories through keyword matching.

Developers can configure database connections and search settings. Vector and hybrid search require MongoDB 8.0+ deployments, including supported self-managed installations.
