Creality's K3 swaps nozzle assemblies to reduce multicolor printing waste

Creality's K3 swaps nozzle assemblies to reduce multicolor printing waste Image: Primary
Creality's new K3 printer exchanges four nozzle assemblies that each retain their own filament, avoiding the repeated flushing required when colors share one nozzle. The company claims up to 85% less filament waste and up to 80% shorter printing time compared with conventional single-nozzle multicolor methods. The mechanical exchange takes 4.8 seconds, while a complete color or material change takes approximately 15 seconds. Only one nozzle prints at a time. Creality expects international pricing below US$900, with final pricing and availability unconfirmed. Claimed savings depend on the model, color distribution and number of changes.
