# Wabi opens personal AI assistant with shared chats and automatic app building

Wabi launched its personal AI assistant for all users Monday, TechCrunch reported. Founded by former Replika CEO Eugenia Kuyda, the service organises tasks and longer-term goals into separate conversations that can also function as group chats.

The launch changes Wabi from a platform for users to create and share small apps into an assistant that decides which apps to build. Connecting email automatically creates initial conversations and apps. Users can request more and share personal information within individual chats; Kuyda said everyone in a chat can see when that information is requested.

Wabi runs entirely in the cloud. It is free for now, and the company has not settled on a business model.
