# NexTech Solutions acquires Halcyon Days, adding more than 90 specialists

NexTech Solutions has acquired Halcyon Days Consulting, adding more than 90 engineers, operators and mission specialists to its defense technology business. The acquisition expands its tactical networking capabilities for U.S. military, allied and government customers operating where communications are contested or unreliable.

NTS said Halcyon's experience includes managing networks supporting approximately 20,000 users and more than 15,000 managed devices across two active theaters. Halcyon develops operational software and secure capabilities integrated with the Team Awareness Kit framework.

NTS plans to combine that expertise with MANTLE provisioning software and VidTerra COMPASS video transport. Management said the combination could shorten deployment timelines; integration of those capabilities remains planned.
