The Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control sanctioned Italy-based Autistici Inventati on Aug. 26 under a counterterrorism authority. Treasury said the organization provides website hosting on foreign servers, encrypted email, chat and video conferencing, and digital architecture associated with its Noblogs platform to vetted groups. The designation blocks its property and interests in property under U.S. jurisdiction and generally prohibits U.S. persons from transacting with blocked persons unless authorized or exempt.
