Cyrix Healthcare has acquired the MedTech Solutions business of Blue Star Engineering & Electronics, bringing its team, customer relationships and CT and MRI expertise into the Kochi-based healthcare technology manager.

The acquired business has worked on more than 250 CT and MRI installations in India, including sales, installation, maintenance and repair. Cyrix said the deal will expand its refurbished-imaging operation, AURUM, with access to spare parts, accessories and related equipment. Existing customers will continue to be served by the same teams after the transition.
