Openreach reported separate vandalism incidents on its fiber network in Bedminster and Chippenham that left local homes and businesses without phone and broadband service. The provider said service had been restored in Bedminster, while engineers were working late into the night to restore Chippenham. Openreach did not disclose the number of affected customers and said it was working with police on the investigations.
