Anthropic IPO filing reveals $16.3 billion in first-half revenue

Anthropic IPO filing reveals $16.3 billion in first-half revenue Image: Primary
Anthropic reported $16.3 billion in revenue for the first half of 2026 in its IPO filing this week, TechTarget reported. As of Sept. 30, it had more than 11,900 customers generating at least $100,000 each in revenue during the previous 12 months, up from more than 950 a year earlier. The filing describes broader use of Claude across enterprise workflows as a driver of revenue growth. Lower costs per task can encourage greater consumption, leaving customers with higher overall spending. Those provider revenue figures do not establish whether customers earned a return after integration, maintenance and human oversight costs.
