MiniMax has made its M3.1-Flash-Preview coding model available inside MiniMax Code, its developer assistant, according to Startup Fortune. The company's official account confirmed the addition on September 27 after developers had spotted it in the tool's model picker.

Users can select reasoning levels ranging from low to a new "max" tier. Access is confined to MiniMax Code for now: the model's API endpoint is gated, and MiniMax has not published a model card, benchmark results or pricing for this preview.
