OpenAI is reported to launch a teen-focused ChatGPT experience
Image: Primary CloudWars reported that OpenAI launched ChatGPT for Teens, an experience intended for users the system identifies as under 18 or who state they are 13 to 17.
The report said those users will be routed automatically and receive age-specific safeguards, parental controls, study guidance, homework reminders, quizzes, break reminders and sensitive-image warnings. It also reported a partnership with CodeAI, formerly Code.org, to build programs for students on understanding and using AI safely.
The report notes that users under 13 can still misstate their age.
