Stirling-based advanced-materials company iGii announced €26.49 million in new funding to commercialise and expand industrial adoption of its porous carbon nanomaterial, Gii. The package includes a €13.65 million Series B led by the Scottish National Investment Bank and €12.84 million from Scottish Enterprise. iGii says it will use the funding to scale capability, deepen manufacturer engagements and seek long-term supply agreements. The company says its existing manufacturing capacity can support large-scale production runs.
