Einride said it will add 500 Tesla Semi heavy-duty trucks to its North American fleet over the next two years, with phased operations beginning next month for customers including Amazon.

The company said the addition would triple its deployed fleet and extend its freight network across the region. Tesla is preparing to ramp Semi production at its Nevada factory in 2026, according to the report. The expansion moves beyond limited truck trials, but high vehicle costs and constrained charging infrastructure continue to slow broader electric-truck adoption.
