Kuehne+Nagel announced a contract this week to handle data center logistics for Amazon, expanding its role in the supply chain for large computing facilities. Chief Executive Stefan Paul said demand from U.S. technology companies is a major driver of that business.

In a Thursday interview, Paul said he expects data center logistics demand to remain strong for the next three years, with double-digit growth anticipated until 2029. He also cited Chinese manufacturers' overseas expansion as a source of freight demand and said he does not expect a significant softening in cargo rates in the coming months or in 2027.
