# Angelini Ventures and EIB co-invest €17 million in MMI

Angelini Ventures and the European Investment Bank announced a €17 million co-investment in Medical Microinstrument, a medtech company developing robotic systems for microsurgery and super-microsurgery. MMI's Symani system uses articulated micro-instruments, tremor reduction and motion scaling for reconstructive procedures. The investment is part of an EIB-Angelini partnership signed in December 2025 that plans €150 million of co-financing for European biotech and digital-health startups.
