The Open Secure AI Alliance has joined the Linux Foundation, creating a neutral governance home for organizations developing open AI-security tools and shared defenses. The alliance, originally established by Nvidia with enterprise leaders, says it will cover models, agents, identity, policy, containment and underlying infrastructure. It is also seeking feedback through September 21 on SAFE, a proposal for confidential AI-incident findings exchange and evidence-based controls.
