Friend founder plans shared AI entity using all users' context

Friend founder plans shared AI entity using all users' context Image: Primary
Friend founder Avi Schiffmann plans to replace individual chatbot personalities with one AI entity sharing the context of all users, he told WIRED. He said a coming update would also let Friends take actions, and acknowledged that users would give up privacy to the autonomous entity. The existing Friend 2 pendant listens to nearby sound and builds a memory map of conversations. Its app currently lets users create multiple named personas and choose which runs on the pendant. Schiffmann's proposed update would replace that individual-personality approach with a shared entity.
