OpenAI spokesperson Dominik Kundel described the Codex Micro at the event as a keyboard designed to supercharge people's Codex usage, the report said. No other official details about functionality were provided.
The Codex Micro's silhouette matches Work Louder's Creator Micro 2, a macro pad with a CNC-machined aluminum frame and polycarbonate shell. It includes 13 low-profile mechanical MX-style switches, a rotary encoder, a capacitive touch sensor for up to six programmable layers, and a 2D analog joystick, TechTimes reported. The Base model connects via USB-C. A Pro model adds Bluetooth Low Energy with a 2,100 mAh battery. The device works across Mac, Windows, iOS, Android, and Linux.
The Codex Micro's price has not been confirmed. The Creator Micro 2 Base model starts at $144 and the Pro model at $174, TechTimes noted.
