# Google Play services v26.26 (2026-07-06) adds new in-app purchase and developer features

Google Play services v26.26, dated 2026-07-06, updates in-app purchase and developer features, according to the official Google System Services Release Notes at support.google.com/product-documentation/answer/14343500.

The release states that phone users will now get a faster, more seamless in-app purchase experience with the upgraded native storefront for Google One.

New developer features are added for Google and third party app developers to support Maps related processes in their apps. Separate new developer features support Utilities related processes in apps across Auto, PC, Phone, TV and Wear platforms.

The update also adds a new API to improve the reliability of work profile setup on phones and enables transfer of work profile accounts to watches.
