# Rabbit launches OS3 agent platform across browsers, messaging and desktops

Rabbit launched OS3, a cloud-based agent platform available through a desktop browser, Telegram, iMessage and the company's R1 device. A local node for Windows, macOS or Linux lets the service operate desktop software, files and web pages, and one account can coordinate tasks across as many as five computers.

OS3 has no monthly subscription; users supply API keys for commercial providers or connect local open-source models. Rabbit says local file contents remain on the machine, but relevant prompts pass through Rabbit's servers and then to the selected model provider when a task needs model reasoning.
