Shapiro imposes guardrails as Pennsylvania slows data-center push

Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro has imposed guardrails on enormous data centers while calling some projects "predatory," according to a New York Times summary carried by Techmeme. The summary says the governor, previously a data-center champion, is pumping the brakes amid a backlash. It also says some people in struggling western Pennsylvania welcome the projects.
