Nexus Mods brings SteamDB under shared ownership

Nexus Mods brings SteamDB under shared ownership Image: Primary
Nexus Mods has brought SteamDB, the independent Steam database and tracking service, under the ownership of Chosen, the company that owns Nexus Mods. SteamDB says it will retain its name, URL, features, free access and separate community spaces; founder xPaw will support the transition over coming months. The companies say the service will move from a donation-supported operation run largely by one person to a funded team with infrastructure, security and development capacity. They also say no display or programmatic advertising is planned and personal data will not be sold.
