Atomic Machines emerged from six years in stealth Wednesday with $250M raised and a power switch shipping to early-access customers for evaluation. The startup says its manufacturing system builds working micro-machines from code, using multiple materials and moving parts without fixed tooling.

Its first product, PrimeSwitch PS-150, is a relay intended for AI data centres moving to 800-volt direct current. The company says it opens in 50 microseconds and carries 150 amps of continuous current. Its package measures 9.5mm across and 3mm thick.

Investors include OneIM, Gigafund and the Regents of the University of California. Atomic Machines did not name the evaluation customers or disclose a valuation or how the $250M was split across rounds.
