SpaceX reportedly agrees to acquire Cursor developer Anysphere Image: Primary
SpaceX has agreed to acquire Anysphere, the company behind AI coding platform Cursor, in a transaction valued at $60 billion, according to the Times of India article. The article says SpaceX had an option, announced in April, to acquire Cursor for that amount or pay $10 billion for a partnership, and chose the acquisition route. It says Anysphere will become a wholly owned SpaceX subsidiary and that Cursor shareholders will receive SpaceX Class A stock based on the implied equity value.
