# Insilico says AI-discovered Rentosertib has entered Phase III trials

Insilico Medicine says Rentosertib, its generative AI-discovered drug candidate also known as ISM001-055, has entered Phase III clinical trials for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. The company described the clinical advance in an announcement carried by News-Medical.Net.

Insilico also said it nominated 11 preclinical candidates in the first 10 months of 2026, bringing its cumulative total since 2021 to 35. Its interim report recorded 8 clinical milestones across internal and partnered pipelines as of mid-August. Rentosertib remains a drug candidate undergoing clinical testing.
