NASA selected 16 companies for $1.4 billion in blanket purchase agreements covering logistics services, including flight hardware support, equipment maintenance, transportation and material purchases. The agreements are intended to standardize requirements and streamline cost and resource management.

The five-year base ordering period begins Thursday and runs through Sept. 30, 2031, followed by three optional one-year periods and a six-month extension option. NASA can use firm-fixed-price, time-and-materials, labor-hour or hybrid contracts under the General Services Administration's multiple-award framework. Selected suppliers include Leidos, Tetra Tech and TRAX International.
