Meta has revised employee performance-review guidance to remove references to AI usage and "AI Native" designations, according to employees who received an internal announcement and documents described by WIRED.

The new wording says impact outcomes can be supported by AI or other means. Meta said it evaluates employees on contributions and disputed that the labels were used for performance evaluation. Employees are also testing Hatch, an agentic tool that can browse the web and operate applications on corporate devices ahead of an expected public release.
