# AWS adds Redshift skills for AI-agent warehouse operations

Amazon Redshift now integrates with the Agent Toolkit for AWS, allowing AI agents including Claude Code, Kiro and Cursor to build, query, troubleshoot and migrate Redshift data warehouses and data lakes.

The integration combines authenticated AWS API execution through the AWS MCP server with Redshift skills covering SQL references, schema discovery, data loading and migration procedures. It works with provisioned clusters and Serverless workgroups, requires no infrastructure changes and is available at no additional charge where both services are offered.
