A cyberattack campaign is using websites that imitate Rockstar Games branding to offer a supposed Grand Theft Auto 6 demo or official download, according to Malwarebytes analysis cited by Engadget. The downloaded file is an infostealer that can collect browser-stored passwords, cookies, authenticated sessions, browsing history, autofill data and FTP-client credentials. Rockstar has not released a playable demo, the report says, so sites claiming to offer one are likely attempting fraud.
