NVIDIA and Oracle announced general availability of NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 systems and Vera CPUs on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, alongside plans to expand OCI Superclusters with Vera Rubin to multi-gigawatt scale. The infrastructure serves AI training, inference and the tool execution, code testing and data retrieval that agents perform between model calls.

Each NVL72 rack connects 72 GPUs. OCI Kubernetes Engine lets customers scale CPU and GPU resources independently, which the companies say can reduce idle capacity. Oracle also plans an eight-GPU HGX Rubin NVL8 option for x86 applications; that configuration and the multi-gigawatt expansion remain planned additions.
