# SAP makes ERP-linked Commerce Cloud edition generally available

SAP says its Commerce Cloud, cloud ERP edition, is now generally available for midsize and growing companies. The edition uses SAP Cloud ERP data for pricing, product availability, orders, invoices and other transactions, offering an SAP-managed connection between commerce and enterprise operations.

SAP also announced expanded Order Management Services to coordinate orders across SAP S/4HANA and other ERP systems without first consolidating those systems. Its event-driven architecture validates orders, checks inventory across locations and monitors fulfillment. New and enhanced Joule Assistants use business context to support customer-facing workflows, while decisions requiring approval or exception handling retain human oversight.
