Google adds Claude Opus 5.5 and Sonnet 5.5 to Antigravity

Google Antigravity adds Anthropic's Claude Opus 5.5 and Sonnet 5.5 Image: Primary
Google has added Claude Opus 5.5 and Sonnet 5.5 to its Antigravity coding tool for paying Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers, Startup Fortune reports. Google's model documentation lists both thinking variants in the model picker alongside Gemini. The additions replace a gap in access to Anthropic's newer models: Antigravity had continued offering Opus 4.6 and Sonnet 4.6 after the 5.5 releases. Developers can choose the rival models within Google's tool and pay through a Google account, with usage limits determined by their Google subscription tier. Trial Pro subscriptions do not qualify. Free, AI Plus and Enterprise tiers also lack access, and the older Claude models are scheduled for removal November 2.
