Saildrone's Surveyor unmanned surface vessel fired two Joint Air-to-Ground Missiles during the U.S. Navy's RIMPAC 2026 exercise off Hawaii, according to the supplied account. The vessel used a Lockheed Martin dual launcher to fire at a surrogate high-speed surface craft using coordinated sensor data from the USS Theodore Roosevelt carrier strike group. It also detected, classified and identified a simulated radar threat while working with an MH-60S helicopter. The test was part of the Navy Fleet Experimentation Program.
