# Numeracle raises $28 million for business identity verification

Numeracle has raised $28 million from Edison Partners to expand its business verification services, the company told Crunchbase News. It links verified businesses to their phone numbers and shares that information with carrier screening systems to address incorrectly blocked calls and spam labels.

The financing brings total funding to $34.8 million. Numeracle plans to hire, expand internationally and adapt its tools for messaging, chat apps, marketplaces and AI agents. The company says it has roughly 4,000 business customers and became profitable this year. It currently operates in the United States and declined to disclose its valuation.
