# John Deere touts self-repair software as farmers question its limits

John Deere is promoting Operations Center Pro Service, a self-repair system that pairs with nearly every electronic-enabled machine it has made, as it faces right-to-repair lawsuits and federal action.

The company introduced Pro Service in 2025; prices start at $195 a year per machine, or from $4,995 a year for fleet-wide access. A year on, John Deere says the service has about a thousand daily users. Farmer Jared Wilson, a named plaintiff in a $99 million settlement, said the service works best on simple repairs and that he does not use it.
