# AWS opens limited access to neuron-derived video AI model

Amazon Web Services began offering selected customers limited-preview access to a video-generation model from The Biological Computing Company, expanding distribution beyond the startup's previous neocloud channel. The company studies electrical responses from rat neurons and human stem cells, then translates observed patterns into software that modifies an existing video model; customers do not run living cells.

The startup says the resulting model generates video as much as five times faster than an unnamed open-source baseline and lowers inference cost, but it has not disclosed that baseline or evidence for the comparison. TBC also raised an additional $25 million after a $25 million round earlier this year, taking total funding above $50 million.
