Google introduces Data Agent Kit for data workflows inside coding editors

Google introduces Data Agent Kit for data workflows inside coding editors Image: Primary
Google introduced Data Agent Kit, a plugin for coding agents and an extension for Visual Studio Code-based editors that connects data services and deploys pipelines from the editor. It supplies tools that let agents access services and Markdown instructions for working with the data stack. Google's walkthrough uses the kit to load logs into BigQuery, inspect tables, verify model artifacts in Cloud Storage and query a Spanner review queue. The kit converts a pipeline definition into an Airflow workflow, packages notebooks and a dbt project, deploys the workflow and triggers a run. Users review and run generated code during the walkthrough.
