Paradigm has raised 1.2 billion dollars for a new venture fund. The San Francisco based firm which built its reputation backing crypto companies and protocols will continue investing in digital assets. The latest pool will also target opportunities outside the sector as artificial intelligence and robotics draw a larger share of venture capital. Paradigm now describes itself as a frontier technology investment firm that builds and invests across crypto artificial intelligence and robotics from the earliest stages according to CryptoProwl. The 1.2 billion dollar raise is larger than Paradigms previous 850 million dollar fund announced in 2024. That vehicle was focused on early stage crypto projects with co founder Matt Huang arguing at the time that the sector was entering another important period for new protocols and companies. The new fund arrives with Paradigm managing roughly 11.9 billion dollars in assets in 2025. Its crypto portfolio has included Uniswap Kalshi and other infrastructure and financial technology companies. The 1.2 billion dollar fund gives it the capital to test that thesis beyond crypto without stepping away from the sector that built the firm.
