Shell and Philips investigate reported Cl0p data incidents

Russia-linked ransomware group Cl0p has listed Shell and Philips among companies it claims to have hacked, according to DutchNews. The group says it took 89 gigabytes from Shell, including technical drawings, facility images, test-report scans and project plans, and 13.5 gigabytes from Philips, largely diagrams and blueprints. Shell said it was aware of a possible incident. Philips said it identified and contained an attempted compromise of a specific enterprise server related to internal data, and said it had no customer impact. Security researchers linked the wider campaign to a Windchill software flaw patched on June 17, though neither company identified its breach path.
