LG plans Tennessee factory trial for Nvidia-based robot
Image: Primary LG and Nvidia signed a memorandum of understanding covering expanded AI work, according to GSMArena. The report says LG plans to deploy its wheeled CLOiD robot on a washing-machine manufacturing line in Tennessee later this year as a proving ground before considering use at global production facilities.
It says CLOiD is intended for factories, commercial spaces and homes. The report also says LG plans a bipedal humanoid robot for the first quarter of 2027 using Nvidia's Jetson Thor compute and Isaac GR00T model.
