# Vercel opens persistent Sandbox storage to public beta

Vercel has made Drives for Sandbox available in public beta on Hobby, Pro, and Enterprise plans. A Drive mounts as a directory and keeps its files after a sandbox stops, allowing the same data to be reused across runs or sandbox instances. Developers can preserve an agent's workspace or reuse datasets, models, and dependencies.

Each Drive allows one writable mount at a time. Other sandboxes can read point-in-time snapshots after data has been written, but later changes require a new snapshot. Drives stay in the region where they were created, and sandboxes using them must run in that region.
