Claude Platform opens agent tracing export in public beta

Claude Platform opens agent tracing export in public beta Image: Primary
Anthropic has opened OpenTelemetry tracing in public beta for Claude Managed Agents, the Messages API and Claude SDKs, Blockchain News reported. Developers can configure a destination in the Claude Console to export records of agent turns, model calls and tool use, including latency, token counts and identifiers. OpenTelemetry supplies a standard format for sending operational records to monitoring tools. Anthropic says its traces follow shared conventions for generative AI and work with services including Grafana Cloud, Honeycomb, Sentry and Splunk, allowing teams to inspect agent activity alongside logs and metrics. The feature remains in public beta.
