Cloudflare expanded its Registrar API to let developers and AI agents transfer domains into Cloudflare programmatically. The company also added a sandbox for testing registrar workflows without buying a domain, and an endpoint with information on the more than 420 domain extensions it supports. The API was first offered in beta in April. Cloudflare also launched a browser search that shows a requested name across supported extensions and displays registration and renewal prices. Search results draw on cached records, DNS data and live registry checks; an apparent absence from DNS alone cannot prove a domain is available.
