Indian startup Scimplify has raised $25 million in an all-equity strategic round led by Hitachi Ventures to expand specialty chemical and critical materials production. Customers Henkel and Teknor Apex joined as new investors, alongside existing backers.

Scimplify develops manufacturing processes at research facilities in Bengaluru and Hyderabad, then transfers them to partner factories. Its Scinode AI platform identifies production routes and facilities and tracks quality and regulatory requirements. Co-founder Sachin Santhosh said the company plans to expand its manufacturing network to the U.S. and Japan over the next year. About 90% of manufacturing currently takes place in India.
