# GPT-6.1 Sol becomes generally available on Amazon Bedrock

AWS says GPT-6.1 Sol is now generally available through Amazon Bedrock's console and supported APIs for coding, computer use and professional workloads. Developers can also configure Codex to use the model on Bedrock for repository investigation, implementation and testing.

Model access can be governed through AWS IAM policies, with invocations audited through CloudTrail and network access through VPC endpoints. AWS says inference data is not used for training. Traffic flagged by automated abuse classifiers is retained by AWS for up to 30 days; customers can request zero data retention through their account team.
