Hippocratic AI announced Polaris 6 Ultra, a healthcare voice model that plans its next sentence while the previous sentence's audio plays. The company says the release delivers a 1.3× end-to-end speedup over Polaris 5 while expanding its system of supervisory models.

The company reports that misheard medications or symptoms fell from 1.19 to 0.20 per 100 calls in an evaluation of 2,778 clinician-reviewed production calls. Sentence-level plans appear beside transcripts in its Safety Portal for clinician review. Ultra serves clinical patient-facing conversations; Pro, Flash and Nano cover other workloads. The company's agents do not diagnose or prescribe.
