# Claude adds Gmail drafting and approved sending

Anthropic's Claude is rolling out Gmail capabilities through its Google Workspace connector, according to Hindustan Times. Connected users can search inboxes, summarize threads, identify unanswered messages and draft replies. Claude can also reply and send messages from a connected Gmail account, but the source says users must approve an email before it is sent. Availability depends on a user's Claude plan and account.
