SecurityWeek reported that exposure-management firm WatchTowr has observed attackers exploiting CVE-2026-82329, a critical JFrog Artifactory authentication-bypass vulnerability, and minting administrative tokens. JFrog said the flaw may let an unauthenticated network attacker gain administrative privileges under the default configuration. JFrog released patched versions on August 28 and said its cloud instances had already received the patches; self-hosted customers were advised to update.
